Job Description
The Drafter will prepare clear and concise shop drawings for field installers, work alongside project managers, and participate in weekly coordination meetings. The Drafter will be responsible for preparing technical drawings with dimensions and specifications.
Requirements
- Prepare Shop Drawings using CADD Software
- Work from Rough Sketches or Specifications Created by Engineers and Architects
- Add Detail to Architectural and Mechanical Plans
- Specify Dimensions, Materials, and Procedures
- Ensure all Drawings meet Industry Standards, Building Codes, and Project-Specific Guidelines
- Work Closely with President and Project Managers
- Familiarity with Construction and Manufacturing Processes
