Counter Salesperson

Weinstein Supply is seeking a Counter Salesperson to assist customers, process sales orders, and build relationships with new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of customer service or counter sales experience, knowledge of products sold, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service or counter sales experience
• Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center
• Outstanding customer service, verbal communication, and listening skills
• Ability to keep up-to-date with product knowledge and suggest associated products for purchase
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers
• Ability to ask probing questions, overcome objections, and close sales
• Knowledge of safety precautions and ability to operate warehouse material-handling equipment
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to learn and operate computer-related systems used to process orders
• Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
