Hajoca Corporation is seeking a Counter Salesperson to assist customers, process sales orders, and work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' experience in customer service or counter sales and a knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
Requirements
- 1+ years' experience in customer service or counter sales; contractor sales preferred
- Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center
- Outstanding customer service, verbal communication, and generous listening skills
- Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to ask probing questions to understand customer needs, overcome objections, and ask for the order
- Knowledge of safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment
- Ability to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment and hand tools
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to learn and operate computer-related systems used to process orders
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
