Job Description
Hajoca Corporation is seeking a Fabrication Manager at their Raleigh, NC location. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the fabrication process, including welding and fabricating multiple types of metals, and 1+ year of leadership experience. They will be responsible for managing the fabrication shop, scheduling and prioritizing jobs, and ensuring quality control and safety standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the fabrication process including welding and fabricating multiple types of metals including carbon steel, stainless and galvanized steel and copper
- 1+ year of leadership experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience interfacing with external clients and internal departments
- Experience implementing and managing quality control processes and procedures
- Experience reviewing isometric drawings and performing material and labor take-offs
- Experience with project management activities including cost analysis, cost projections, purchasing, billing, and job profitability
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet
- Ability to interpret performance report data and take action to adjust processes to maximize profitability
