Sr Legal Associate

We're seeking a Sr Legal Associate to provide legal support and guidance to our business in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The role will support commercial, corporate, and operational activities, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies while enabling business objectives in a pragmatic and solution-oriented manner.

Requirements

• Provide daily legal support to business units and assigned functions in Mexico and LEC (e.g., Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, Regulatory).
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, including commercial agreements, NDAs, service contracts, distribution, marketing, and supplier contracts.
• Advise on compliance with local laws and internal policies in the region, including economic competition, anti-corruption, data privacy, consumer protection, and promotional compliance.
• Support corporate governance activities in Mexico and LEC, including board resolutions, powers, and corporate records (as applicable).
• Identify legal risks and provide clear and focused recommendations to the business to mitigate them.
• Coordinate and manage external advice when necessary, ensuring efficiency in costs and quality of legal advice.
• Support internal investigations, disputes, or litigation under the supervision of senior legal leadership.
• Provide legal training and orientation to business teams to promote legal awareness and compliance culture.
• Collaborate with regional and global legal teams, ensuring alignment with Haleon's standards and practices.
• Work independently with moderate supervision.
• Interpret legislation.
• Monitor REPSE compliance.
