The Accounting Clerk accurately records sales, profits, and commissions payable on sold units and maintains vehicle inventory accounts. The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of dealership experience, and basic accounting knowledge.
Requirements
- Bill all new and used car deals and post into account
- Receipt all monies received for new and used car deals
- Organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness
- Process pay-off checks for trade-ins and mail to appropriate financial institution in a timely manner
- Generate and maintain the salesperson's commission reports and list of commissions on hold
- Process new car title work and route used car title work to the Tag & Title Clerk when the deal is funded
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned
