PAYLOAD SYSTEMS ENGINEER Mechanical & Materials Integration

A leading aerospace organization is seeking a Sr- or Staff-level Systems Engineer to support integration and requirements for air-launched, hypersonic vehicle payloads with a focus on mechanical, structural, and materials systems.

Requirements

• Oversee and contribute to payload mechanical, structural, and materials requirements and integration
• Collaborate with integration and test engineers, program leadership, and customers to define and implement payload integration, test, and data collection activities
• Develop, track, and manage requirements
• Ensure vehicle payloads are tested to meet customer requirements
• Participate in test planning, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), test execution, troubleshooting, and post-test data reviews
• Optimize data review methodology and develop data review and analysis tools
• Set and maintain standards for test planning and documentation
• Coordinate internally with multi-disciplinary teams and externally with customers
• Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity, and fulfillment of commitments
