Job Description
Harlem Children's Zone is seeking a Theater Specialist to provide a structured and engaging introduction to theater for high school students. The ideal candidate will be able to expose students to theater through a designed curriculum and through a series of projects designed by students.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- 2 years theater experience and 1-year teaching experience preferred
- Experience working with youth population
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team unit where idea ciphers are encouraged
- Ability to effectively engage students
- Ability to work flexible schedule, available days and evenings
