Requirements
- Journey-level status or five years of verifiable experience required
- Basic computer skills for data logging, work order management and communications
- Interpersonal skills to work in a team environment
- Journeyperson’s Card or five years of applicable experience as a Millwright or equivalent trade
- High school diploma or GED required
- Working knowledge of heat treat equipment, furnaces, RX gas generators, gas burners and heat treat transfer equipment
- Proficient in welding, Mig, Tig and Stick, Brazing, Soldering etc.
- Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair mechanical process piping systems
- Maintain air handling equipment i.e. vacuum systems and ventilation systems
- Utilizing Microsoft Office and computerized Maintenance Management system, or equivalent program
- Operating equipment such as: drills, grinders, brakes and shears to modify or repair fabricated components from steel, aluminum, plastic, and wood
- Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities
- Preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment, troubleshooting and repair of centralized coolant systems, supporting production of heat treat operations, and fabrication from blueprints using raw stock: welding (i.e. MIG,TIG,STICK, etc.), sheet metal work, woodwork.
