Job Description
Join Harley-Davidson Motor Company as a Machinist Fabricator in Wauwatosa, WI. You will machine prototype test parts and fixtures, metal inert gas (MIG) weld and tungsten inert gas (TIG) weld steel and aluminum assemblies, and operate rapid prototyping equipment. Requires 8 years of experience as a prototype machinist, fabricator or apprenticeship in a related field.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years minimum experience as a prototype machinist, fabricator or an apprenticeship in a related field
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 20 verifiable credits in related trade school training or coursework
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and sketches
- Ability to work with CAD models and generate complex cutter paths
- Demonstrated competence in the fabrication and welding of critical assemblies
- Ability to create and edit G-code
- Ability to set-up and operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, water jet, and press brake
- Ability to communicate verbally, written and comprehensive skills with others
