Job Description
HARMAN Automotive seeks a Principal Engineer Functional Safety to lead a team of Functional Safety Engineers and support the development of functional safety requirements, safety analysis, and compliance with ISO26262.
Requirements
- University degree in the Engineering field and certified Functional Safety Manager& ASPICE assessor
- Extensive experience in Automotive Engineering and Development, as well as experience in Functional Safety implementation
- Extensive knowledge of System, Hardware and Software
- Experience in the creation of safety concepts and analysis (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, HARA)
- Knowledge about the product development process
- Experience in project and quality management
- Profound knowledge in ISO 26262 and IEC 61508, Automotive SPICE/CMMI, including legal aspects
- Experience in the creation of a project safety plan/Quality plan
- Ability to work independently
- Strong skills in communication, presentation and problem solving (customer and internal)
- Flexible and autonomous working with global interfaces
- English business fluent
