Job Description
PumpMan is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Pump Technician to join our team. The Senior Pump Technician will be responsible for the inspection, repair, rebuilding, and testing of industrial pumps in a shop environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience repairing and rebuilding industrial pumps in a shop setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of OEM standards, tolerances, and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.).
- Familiarity with balancing, machining, welding, and other precision repair processes.
- Ability to conduct failure analysis and provide detailed repair recommendations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
