Harrington is a leading distributor of fluid process products and solutions for industrial applications. We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.
Requirements
- Direct supervision of three or less warehouse/driver associates
- Participate in hiring process and formal performance evaluations
- Approve timecards, create schedules as necessary
- Ensure the warehouse is secure, maintain equipment and vehicles
- Follow federal, state, and local regulations for warehousing, shipping, and material handling
- Create systems for organization and communication
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Read customer orders to determine items to be gathered and distributed
- Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage areas
- Sort and place materials or items on racks or other storage areas
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or in boxes
- Convey orders to staging areas and/or onto trucks for delivery
- Mark materials with identifying information
- Record amount of materials or items received and distributed
- Perform data entry of records into the computer
- Complete requisition forms to order materials from other company locations
- Prepare parcels for mail
- Perform physical counts of existing inventory and maintains inventory records
- Act as back-up when delivery driver is unavailable
