Job Description
The Medical Director, Newborn and Special Care Nurseries at Cambridge Hospital will be responsible for implementing best practices and policies for optimal newborn care, collaborating with obstetrics and family medicine services for high-risk patients, and engaging with leaders in pharmacy, pathology, and subspecialty consultants. The role benefits from being a member of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Department of Neonatology, with access to resources and expertise while practicing in an intimate community hospital.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in Pediatrics or Medicine-Pediatrics with or without subspecialty Neonatology certification
- A valid MA medical license or the ability to obtain one
- At least 5 years of newborn medicine experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
