Pediatrician, Newborn Nursery

The Neonatology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a part-time physician to provide CNS coverage at BIDMC. The physician will round on assigned patients, provide direct clinical care, and communicate with and educate families. The role also involves teaching and supervising Harvard Medical School students.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification in Pediatrics or Medicine-Pediatrics with or without subspecialty Neonatology certification
• A valid MA medical license or the ability to obtain one
• At least 5 years of newborn medicine experience
• Excellent teaching, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
