Job Description
Hawaiian Electric Company is seeking a Professional Supervisor to oversee and direct the Company’s Meter Operations Department within the P Substation & Meter Division at Kahului, Hawa. This role involves supervising staff, providing training, ensuring safety and compliance with meter operations, performing field work, and managing meter inventory. It requires being available for emergencies and experience with managing large scale meter systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles
- Knowledge of electric metering operations and meter work
- Understanding of metering standards and national electrical code
- Apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Successful completion of a supervisory training course
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain flexible in a demanding environment
- Driving license
- Meeting safety and driving standards
