Biological Resources Project Manager

At HDR, we are seeking a Biological Resources Project Manager to lead complex natural resource projects, shape mitigation strategies, and mentor a growing team across the SoCal region. The role requires a biologist with strong CEQA and NEPA technical understanding, experience in species survey protocols, and ability to interpret permit conditions. The position has remote/hybrid flexibility but requires physical location in Southern California.

Requirements

• Master's degree in environmental, biological, or regulatory field
• 6 years of experience as a Lead Biologist on projects and technical documents
• 40-hour wetland delineation course completion or equivalent experience
• Ability to identify Southern California plants
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Teams
• Valid California driver's license
• 2 years project management experience
• Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills
