Job Description
HDR is seeking a Chief Inspector to conduct construction observations, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with project managers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant industry certifications.
Requirements
- Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
- Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed
- Collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
- Identify nonconforming work, develop project punchlists and maintain until corrected
- Serve as the most senior inspector on projects as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
