Chief Inspector

HDR is seeking a Chief Inspector to conduct observations of construction, mentor junior field staff, and collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 5 years of experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Requirements

• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
• Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed
• Collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents
• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
• Identify nonconforming work, develop project punchlists and maintain until corrected
• Serve as the most senior inspector on projects as needed
