Job Description
HDR is seeking a Civil Engineer - Railroad to join our Freight Railroad Team in Omaha, Nebraska. The primary duties of the Civil Engineer - Railroad are to prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for railroad track and civil projects, work independently as a project engineer, and assist senior engineers on larger projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- Hands-on experience with Microstation, OpenRail Designer, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- MS Office software experience
- Excellent oral and written communication and project management skills
