Job Description
HDR is seeking a Civil Engineer - Railroad to join our Freight Railroad Team in Omaha, Nebraska. The engineer will prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for railroad track and civil projects, work independently on small- to mid-sized projects, and assist senior engineers on larger projects. The engineer will also participate in proposal development, direct engineers-in-training, and assist in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board
- 3 years experience in transportation design - railroad projects
- Knowledge of InRail/InRoads platform
- Hands-on experience with Microstation, OpenRail Designer, AutoCAD and Civil3D
