Job Description
HDR is seeking a Complex Bridge Inspection Lead to join their Texas Bridge Team. The role requires performing local and national bridge and structural inspections, conducting National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) inspections, and providing supervision to the inspection team.
Requirements
- Perform local and national bridge and structural inspections
- Conduct National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) inspections
- Provide supervision to the inspection team
- Lead bridge inspections, develop inspection reports, and perform structural load rating calculations
- Travel for multiple night stays during the week
- Be willing to travel, primarily in Texas, to inspection sites
- Have experience in asset management data software (AASHTOWare BrM, AssetWise, inspectX, etc.)
- Have experience in load rating software (AASHTOWare BrR, BRASS, CANDE, etc.)
- Be certified as a Mobile Elevating Working Platform (MEWP) Operator
- Have a valid Texas Driver’s License
- Be able to operate a vehicle day or night
