Job Description
As an Economist Consultant at HDR, you will focus on three main responsibilities: technical, marketing, and staff development, contributing to dam and levee safety, consequence estimation, and risk-informed decision making.
Requirements
- Experience in conceptualizing and developing data to support economic life loss estimations
- Knowledge of USACE procedures for flood consequences and project benefit evaluation
- Experience with analytical packages and/or programming languages
- Knowledge of economic/econometric methods
- Ability to interact with clients on a regular basis
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
