Job Description
HDR is seeking a Geologist II to lead hydrogeologic and environmental field investigations, oversee field teams, and provide direction and mentoring to junior staff. The role involves task management, fieldwork, and data analysis, as well as client interaction and presentations. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in environmental consulting and is pursuing Professional Geologist certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology or closely related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience
- Prior experience with field work
- Experience with well installation techniques, and groundwater and soil sampling procedures and analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions
- HAZWOPER 40-hour certification
- Clean driving record
