Job Description
HDR is seeking an Operations Electrical Designer to join their team at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The ideal candidate will have experience with federal contracts and/or the Air Force Civil Engineering Squadron, and will have a strong enthusiasm to ensure the cadets and future Air Force Leaders live and learn in state-of-the-art facilities.
Requirements
- Design, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems
- Manage electrical renovations and installations
- Serve as liaison between engineers and shop craftsmen
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and environmental engineers
- Lead energy efficiency initiatives
- Maintain accurate technical documentation
- Conduct limited in-house designs and analyze technical data
- Lead asset inventory, condition assessments, and reliability processes
- Identify, prioritize, and manage repair and recapitalization projects
- Communicate effectively with leadership, uphold ethical standards, and deliver high-quality results to stakeholders
