HDR is hiring a Senior Bridge Engineer for our Structures Group in Tampa, FL. The role involves leading the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and transportation structures. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in civil or Structural Engineering, 15 years of bridge design experience, and be a technical expert in engineering analysis and design.
Requirements
- Lead the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and transportation structures
- Serve as Technical Lead and Engineer of Record on major bridge projects
- Provide project and people management oversight
- Mentor, train, and oversee junior and mid-level engineers
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Collaborate with project managers, business development teams, and leadership
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders
- Oversee and participate in structural condition assessments, load ratings, inspections, and rehabilitation recommendations
- Conduct and/or review advanced structural analyses using industry-standard software and tools
