Senior Bridge Engineer

HDR is hiring a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and transportation structures for DOT, municipal, and private clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of bridge design experience, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and experience working with various software packages and teams.

Requirements

• Lead the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and transportation structures
• Serve as Technical Lead and Engineer of Record on major bridge projects
• Mentor, train, and oversee junior and mid-level engineers
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
• Collaborate with project managers, business development teams, and leadership
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders
• Oversee and participate in structural condition assessments, load ratings, inspections, and rehabilitation recommendations
