Senior Bridge Engineer

At HDR, we're hiring a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and transportation structures, ensuring designs meet applicable standards while maintaining constructability, safety, and cost efficiency. As a technical lead and engineer of record, you'll oversee projects and teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders. With a strong focus on innovation, technical excellence, and community needs, you'll shape the future of mobility and make a meaningful impact.

Requirements

• Lead the planning, design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and transportation structures
• Serve as Technical Lead and Engineer of Record on major bridge projects
• Mentor, train, and oversee junior and mid-level engineers
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
• Collaborate with project managers, business development teams, and leadership
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders
• Conduct and/or review advanced structural analyses using industry-standard software and tools
