Senior Engineer - Traffic

We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Traffic to provide design oversight for roadway, lighting, signing, pavement marking, traffic signals and traffic management system design plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITS and traffic engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of experience and a professional engineering license. The position will involve leading medium to large staff of professionals and technicians, and serving as a technical expert and project manager on larger projects.

Requirements

• Provide design oversight for roadway, lighting, signing, pavement marking, traffic signals and traffic management system design plans
• Assist in providing oversight of the traffic control and sequencing plans throughout the construction phase of the project
• Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity
• Organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians
• Serve as project manager on larger projects
