Senior Transportation Construction Inspector

At HDR, we're looking for a Senior Transportation Construction Inspector to join our team. As an employee-owner, you'll be responsible for conducting observations of construction, collaborating with other inspectors, and providing supervision and guidance to junior field staff. You'll work on civil projects related to roads, bridges, transit, rail, and environmental projects.

Requirements

• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects
• Collaborate with other Inspectors, Construction Managers, Engineers, and Project Managers
• Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed
• Read and interpret construction plans, shop drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Perform routine material testing on concrete, soils, and other materials as necessary
