Job Description
HDR is seeking a Solid Waste Planner 2 to join their team, working on waste management projects and planning strategic initiatives for municipalities. The role requires a background in recycling, composting, sustainability, and waste management, with a focus on innovation and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have strong research, analysis, and interpretation skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recycling, composting, sustainability, and waste management for a municipality, state or federal regulatory agency, service provider, or within a consultant environment
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
