As a Substation Engineer (PE) Power Engineer, you will contribute to shaping the future of power systems, driving infrastructure forward, and powering innovation. You will work side-by-side with industry-recognized engineers and scientists to deliver reliable, resilient, and sustainable power systems.
Requirements
- Support preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Understand physical substation design
- Understand protection and control design
- Prepare calculations for studies and reports
- Prepare equipment specifications for procurement and/or factory acceptance testing
- Coordinate design activities with other departments
- Effectively communicate and coordinate project activities with manager, clients, and others as needed
- Works independently and may direct, mentor, train, and/or supervise efforts of less-experienced EIT's and/or Designers
- Perform other duties as needed
