Substation Project Engineer

HDR is seeking a Substation Project Engineer to join their growing team of Power Delivery professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in high voltage substation design and be able to work independently while directing and mentoring less-experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Support preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Understand physical substation design and protection and control design
• Prepare calculations for studies and reports
• Prepare equipment specifications for procurement and/or factory acceptance testing
• Coordinate design activities with other departments
• Effectively communicate and coordinate project activities with manager, clients, and others as needed
