Job Description
As a Substation Section Manager at HDR, you will be responsible for establishing relationships with clients, overseeing project execution, and driving quality and delivery. You will also supervise a small substation team and provide oversight over workload, quality, and utilization.
Requirements
- Establish primary local Power Delivery relationship with a strategic client
- Oversee execution of projects, drive quality and delivery for the client
- Supervise a small substation team and provide oversight over workload, quality, utilization, team morale, training, and performing annual performance reviews of team members
- Coordinate with company recruiting staff and leadership to develop a hiring plan and grow the group based on client and worksharing needs
- Establish a network of relationships with technical peers in other offices and leverage those relationships and resources in worksharing opportunities
- Coordinate with marketing and technical leadership for business development
- Implement HDR Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements, processes, and procedures
