Water / Wastewater Project Manager

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to advance the planning, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities projects in Ohio. The candidate will lead water/wastewater projects, direct project staff, and work closely with the local team to deliver the growing Water Business Group business within Ohio.

Requirements

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline planning, as well as large, complex multi-disciplinary projects
• Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning/design team throughout entire project lifespan
• Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings
• Participate in reviews with various governing agencies
• Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff
• Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
• Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
• Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Business Group Manager for project reviews
• Perform technical analyses and report preparation
• Lead client project and technical meetings and/or workshops
• Provide leadership and mentoring for water/wastewater engineers
• Perform other duties as needed
