6-8 Media Arts Teacher

The Media Arts Teacher for Digital Content Creation is responsible for designing and delivering an engaging, project-based curriculum for students in grades 6 through 8. The role guides students in exploring the dynamic world of media arts through short-form video production, photography, and graphic design, while fostering critical media literacy and creative expression using industry-relevant digital tools.

Requirements

• Ability to teach project-based, student-centered lessons in a middle school environment
• Proficiency with digital content creation tools: WeVideo, Canva, and Adobe Lightroom (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with current media arts pedagogy, including storytelling, design thinking, and visual communication
