Job Description
Health Advocate is seeking a Health Screener to conduct biometric health screenings and blood draw screenings at various client worksites. The Health Screener will be responsible for performing clinical assessments, including capillary/ finger stick blood testing, blood pressure measurements, and biometric testing, while maintaining a high standard of patient care and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current medical certification/ licensure in one of the following: EMT, Paramedic, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant (MA), Not-Listed Health Certification, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Registered Nurse (RN or BSN)
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in health screenings or a related clinical field
- Proficiency in fingerstick blood collection
- Proficiency in manual blood pressure measurement
- Knowledge of HIPAA and strict adherence to PHI security
