PRN Medical Provider - Substance use treatment

The Medical Provider will assess and evaluate the delivery of psychiatric and physical care to patients in the program, ensuring that the services provided are in accordance with facility policies and procedures, Joint Commission standards and all local, state, and federal regulations. This role is integral in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients, through the assessment of patient health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or a related healthcare field preferred
• Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and other addiction treatment modalities
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work compassionately with a diverse patient population
• DEA registration and X-Waiver
