Job Description
Heath Images at Boulder is seeking a full-time X-ray Technologist to join their team. The X-ray Technologist performs various types of diagnostic X-ray procedures, adjusts X-ray equipment settings, and determines proper voltage/exposure and positions patients.
Requirements
- Interfaces with patients to ascertain medical history and provides instructions/explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
- Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent.
- Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
- Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high-quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
- Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
