Medical Laboratory Technologist

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will interact with patients and other healthcare workers to ensure the needs of patients are met in a caring and professional manner. They will provide laboratory services in accordance with the Standards of Practice for Medical Laboratory Technologists as established by the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) and HSN.

Requirements

• Minimum of a three (3) year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited college.
• Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) is required.
• Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a laboratory department within a health care environment.
