Radiation Therapist

Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative Radiation Therapist to deliver safe and accurate radiation treatment to patients at Sault Ste. Marie Hospital. The role involves all aspects of radiation therapy, from treatment planning and dosage calculation to quality assurance and patient interaction. Sault Area Hospital, a community hospital serving Sault Ste. Marie and the district of Algoma, prioritizes patient wellness and provides excellent care in Emergency, Critical Care, Medicine, Surgery, and other medical fields.

Requirements

• Current certificate of registration in the specialty of Radiation Therapy with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Current Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is preferred.
• Current Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required.
• Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
