Radiation Therapist

Deliver safe and accurate daily radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist, and perform related services, including developing computerized treatment plans, performing quality assurance tests, and educating patients.

Requirements

• Current certificate of registration in the specialty of Radiation Therapy with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
• Current Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
• Current Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ministry of Labour ‘Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps’ training certificate
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a health care environment
