Healthcare Talent is assisting our client in their search for Benefits Special for their corporate office in Irvine.
Job Description
Benefits Specialist responsible for overseeing and administration of employee benefits, specializing in health insurance, leave of absence and retirement plans. Develop and manage ongoing benefit related communication plan, and assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of benefits programs.
Requirements
- Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in benefit administration in an HR environment
- Direct, hands-on experience in health and welfare
- Experience with benefit related interfaces and managing benefit funding (401k, Deferred Comp, HSA, etc.)
- Experience interacting with Payroll team as it relates to benefit administration
- Experience in managing relationship with a third party benefit administrator
- Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong customer service and both verbal and written communication skills
