Nurse B - Registered Nurse

The Psychiatric Liaison Nurse provides individualized assessment and care to patients in the Emergency Mental Health Service ER, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality mental health and addiction services. The role involves providing patient education, offering support, and serving as a clinical resource for patients and their families. The Nurse will work closely with Emergency Room physicians and other community stakeholders.

Requirements

• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
• Bachelor of Nursing (BN)
• Advanced - Interpersonal skills
• Intermediate - Critical thinking skills
• Basic - Computer skills
• Basic - Keyboarding skills
• Intermediate - Decision making skills
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act
