Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice nurse with knowledge and skills gained through advanced academic preparation and experience. They will provide care and services at the Urgent Care Centre within their full scope of practice and competencies for clients both independently and collaboratively with a physician(s) and the healthcare team.
Requirements
- 3 years experience as a RN in critical care, ER, acute care or primary care.
- 1 year full time experience working as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP))
- Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)
- Post-Graduate Practitioner Certificate
