Job Description
The Clinical Perfusionist sets up, operates and maintains the heart lung machine and related equipment. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining perfusion related equipment and disposables stock, carrying out blood gas analysis, and quality control and calibration of analyzers.
Requirements
- Cardiovascular Perfusion advanced certificate
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registration with the appropriate licensing body
- Successful completion of certifying exam of Cdn Society of Clinical Perfusion
