Job Description
The Clinical Perfusionist sets up, operates and maintains the heart lung machine and related equipment. The incumbent is responsible for checking hardware and maintaining perfusion related equipment, carrying out blood gas analysis and quality control.
Requirements
- Cardiovascular Perfusion advanced certificate
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registration with the appropriate licensing body
- Successful completion of certifying exam of Cdn Society of Clinical Perfusion
