Job Description
Healthier Mississippi Clinical Services, LLC and Healthier Mississippi People, LLC are subsidiaries of Healthier Mississippi Collaborative, Inc., but operate as separate entities. This role involves assessing patient care needs and providing anesthetic care for surgical patients. Knowledge, skills and abilities related to anesthetics and patient monitoring are essential.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited CRNA program and current certification as certified registered nurse anesthetist from the Mississippi Board of Nursing or in another state.
- Must be a certified registered nurse anesthetist at the time of hire.
- Knowledge of agents, equipment, procedures and techniques for the provision of anesthesia for patients.
- Evaluation of patients preoperatively.
- Administering medically directed anesthetics during surgical, obstetrical, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
- Participation in case-based quality and safety issues and development of improvement measures.
