Job Description
The Medical Laboratory Assistant will perform routine tasks within the laboratory setting, including specimen processing, sample preparation, report generation, and maintaining laboratory equipment. They will also provide training, guidance, and assistance to other members of the lab team. Strong organizational and follow-up skills are required.
Requirements
- Prepare specimens for testing or reference lab.
- Operate laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, tubes, and automated systems.
- Maintain accurate records and perform duties required for cap accreditation.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain laboratory facilities and equipment.
