Job Description
The Accountant I is responsible for the proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger, completing billings to outside vendors, and maintaining fixed asset records.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Strong spreadsheet (Excel) skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills including ability to make independent investigations of errors in accounts or statements
